Without reading everything else you said, I don't like the trade that much. Bautista is the best player in the deal and santana is the best at his position.

Taking everything else you said into consideration, this is a great deal for you. You have Zimm, so bautista 3b eligiability isn't as valuable, you take a slight dip in OF with cargo. But lincy and romero are a huge upgrade to your SP. Even if lincy falters, romero should have a great year. Johnson will be hurt by the allstar break anyways so best to get rid of him now. Molina isnt santana, but he's still pretty solid. Overall, your lineup becomes much better. Go for it.

I would also do it. Lincecum is better than Josh Johnson, you still have Molina as catcher and also have Zimmerman at 3rd. Your outfield will get a lot better which it needs to be. I would do it.

I think it's a great deal for you: CarGo headed UP, Bautista not, and you get good pitching, too. timmy will figure it out. Hard to let go of Santana, but Molina is headed for a big year this year. Go for it!
