Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I've got injuries already and I need to fill some holes temporarily. Gotta fill 2 SP slots.
It's a points league H2H that doesn't count ERA/WHIP. 10pts for a win, -5pts for a loss, .5pt per K, 1pt per innings pitched.
Like I said the league is deep so the players that are available I'm not all that familiar with fantasy wise. Most are young guys looking to establish themselves or veterans.
Slim pickings I know. Thanks for any help.
Drabek could work out, though you might see if fellow 'Jay Henderson Alvarez is available instead. Vargas will have a solid enough season pitching in Seattle (at least for a deep league like yours). Julio Teheran of Cle just got a roster spot--he could end up being great. I'm assuming Juan Nicasio isn't available? Just tossing out some names of guys you may not know yet. How about Randall Delgado of Atl?

Nicasio was picked up last night actually. Delgado is still available. I actually own Hudson (who he's replacing), and put him on the DL today. What kind of potential is there with Delgado? I have a hunch that Vargas could have a pretty decent year now that Seatle doesn't look too shabby, but that division scares the crap outa me.
Capuano is looking okay for the Dodgers. He pitches in a very good pitcher's park, against some of the worst offenses in baseball (Padres, Giants).
I go with him. He wll give you some IP, K's and a few wins.
Second choice is Dickey for the IP and K's.
