Of course you don't use your number one waiver priority on an SP with 200+ K potential. You should get in a time machine, go back to 1999, wait for someone to drop Pedro Martinez, and use your priority on him. That way you get 250 K's..

Moore is the type of player you are looking for with a #1 priority. Using it early means by the time September callups happen, you should be back near the top of waiver list. Also, you dont have to fear missing out on quality players if you are using a 9, or 10 priority spot to pick up several very good players throughout the season, instead of waiting for that 1 worthy player.
