Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Standard 5x5 h2h $260 budget auction. It is a 12 team league, so far only 8 have returned. So there is a chance there will be good players available. I get 5 picks at the same price drafted last year. My choices are kind of weak. My "best" offensive player to choose from is H.Ramirez, but I don't know he is worth what I paid...who would you pick

There are some great bargains. I just hope there are some great players available in the draft. I obviously need to pick up some big bats in this years draft. So atleast my keepers are cheap and give me a great value

If Beltran puts up similar numbers and I keep him he is worth .50 on the dollar. That is a great value buy, especially for the weak line up I had. Montero is certainly a better choice over Beltran, but its not a choice of the two. I get 5 picks
I keep borne for 3 bucks u will never get him that cheap again. cuddyer is also a bargin at that price. stratsberg good value as is hamels and beltran. everyone else on ur roster will be cheaper this year. u want to keep the best bargins not always the best players
Damn, you really went after Hanley. Honestly, I think you should keep Strasburg, Hamels, Cuddy, Montero, and maybe Bourn. I think you may be able to get Hanley for cheaper than $52 but it's still a risk.

I did go after him. I was late to the draft and he was one of the few that I was counting on helping with several categories. Unfortanetly he was not as good last year as 2010.
I was thinking Hamels for sure, cant pass him up at $16.
Cuddyer will be a good value too.
Monetero at $4 should be solid value at cather position. I wonder if I should not utilize all 5 so I have a larger budget to get better players this year.
