Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
To promote my blog, I am available to answer any of your pre and post draft questions. Visit me on Twitter, Tumblr, and Blogger under the name Roto Hero or please ask away on here.
My hitting group is extremely deep in my standard 12 team H2H, but my pitching is above average at best. Good enough to keep me in contention, but not good enough to guarantee wins in 3 out of 5 pitching categories week in and week out.
My conundrum is this.... Which one of my hitters (or 2?) can I trade for a top pitcher like Kershaw, Hamels, Strasberg, etc.
Here is my lineup:
SS- Tulo (DL)
UTIL- De Aza
I was just offered Aramis Ramirez, and Trevor Cahill earlier for Trumbo. I really don't want to do a 2 for 1, unless it's me giving up 2 and getting 1 in return....

In a 5 x 6 roto keeper league, with strikeouts as the 6th offensive stat, and 7 keepers:
I'm currently rebuilding, and my keepers are Posey, Hosmer, Ackley, Wright, Harper, Moore, and Melk/Choo/M Young.
I've been offered two different trades for Wright. Grade the trade:
1. kemp and beltre for wright, michael young, axford and a 1st round dp
2. braun and aramis for wright axford and a 1st round dp.
I was offer this trade should I take it. 8 team h2h categories
I get: Ryan Zimmerman, Duda
I give: Dee Gordon, Luebke
2/ss d Gordon
Rf j upton
Bench Ike Davis, Bj Upton
DL Morse (LF, 1B)
5 SP spots
Hamels, Weaver, Bumgarner, Hanson, Beachy
Putz, League, Street
Bench- Luebke, Cahill (use this spot to stream SP
Hey how are your fantasy teams doing?
I have a question about houston of jordon Schafer
Your thoughts opinions on him? I'm looking for another speed guy, he's projected to steal a lot and he has 3 tonight. I'm not sure if he's the everyday starter or if he's too risky of a pick up?
If I pick him up I'll then try to trade (hopefully its a fair offer)
I give: Holliday r weeks
I get: pedroia Bonifacio/aybar which do you think would be better/better for the trade?
Serigo santos is off to a bad start and drew storen looks like he will miss a bunch of time should i pick up henry rodriguez, if so drop who?Santos?
Also Lance Lynn is available is he worth picking up, if so who to drop, thanl you for your help
C: Yadier Molina
1B: Joey Votto
2B: Rickie Weeks
3B: Aramis Ramirez
SS: Jhonny Peralta
OF: Mike Stanton
OF: Cory Hart
OF: Melky Cabrera
Util: Prince Fielder
Util: Michael Morse
BN: Jeff Francoeur
BN: Josh Willingham
RP: Javy Guerra

I wouldn't drop Santos quite yet. You are right he has been bad, but he is still the closer.
I would pick up Rodrigez assuming the other closers are gone. Instead of Santos you should drop one of your SPs. I think you have too many (depending on your innings limit). I would prob drop Loshe. If not then Santana or Vog and move Farns to your DL.
Lynn, looks good so far, but I would prob prefer to gamble on Santana.
i get either kinsler/b.lawrie or kinsler/hosmer i give braun.......which trade is better and are either enough for braun....my 1B right now is morneau 2b is ryan roberts (ari), ad 3b youkilis....i need to improve my infield

I think that is probably enough for braun, if you don't mind the injury risk of Kinsler.
I would rather have Lawrie. I think it's nice pairing. Hosmer I'm not sold on for 2012, I would not take that deal.
