Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Thoughts on this offer:
S. Perez (Catcher)
Mind you, he needs pitching and has Pedroia is his 2nd 2B, while I'm stacked in SPing but need offensive help (Espinosa and Ackley are my 2B, Beltran, Bourjos, Trumbo, and Quentin are my OFers)
I also offered another trade that would mean I'd lose Trumbo and another ace SPer but would get CarGo in return, so keep that in mind.
I wouldn't do this offer. You have two players with a lot of upside at 2B already. Why not wait a month and see how they do before making the trade.
The Cargo deal is doable, although if you're stacked at pitching I want to be giving up someone other than Price.

Also, as much high upside as those 2 have, I need some consistency in my lineup. My starting 1B is Morneau... My surest bet in the OF is Beltran, which is my #1 OFer... so having someone who is more of a sure thing would be really helpful. So any insight on a team with upside, but who is questionable in almost every non-SPing position?
Price and Gallardo are really my two worst tradable SPing pieces, Peavy carries practically no value obviously, just picked him up off FA today.
Sooo... thoughts? What'd you suggest?
Pretty even deal. Kershaw is maybe the best player in the deal, or perhaps Pedroia.
The fact that Pedroia gives solid five-category production at 2nd base makes him worth the deal. Bruce makes up for the additional value.
Worth it if your SP'ing is strong even without Kershaw.
