Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Just curious how many fellow fantasy owners play in a 10x10tournament league. In my favorite league we play H,R,2B,3B,HR,RBI,SB,BB,K,AVG and W,K,BB,HR allowed,SV,HLD,CG,ERA,blown saves, quality starts.
we play 10x10 with:
We are considering changing SB to NSB this year. We technically played 11x11 last year by including NH and CYC as "holy grail" categories. The Sandoval cycle actually had a big impact on our playoffs.
We use 10 X 10 as well. AVG, OPS, HR, RBI, RUNS, SB, K, E, PO, ASST & IP, W, L, CG, ERA, HOLDS, SAVES, Walks, Hits, K's. We chose to replace WHIP and actually use Walks and Hits. Our league has been with yahoo for 10 years. Before that we used Sandlot. It definitely makes things more interesting.
I play a 12 Team Head to Head league with 10 x 10 scoring. We have found it to be addictive and an amazing style of play.
10 Hitting (R, Hits, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, BB, K, Batting Avg)
10 Pitching (IP, W, L, CG, SO, Saves, HR, ERA, WHIP, K/BB)
we also allow each team 2 keepers ( 1 Hitter / 1 Pitcher)
this keeps our drafts fresh each year...

Some interesting categories there, Wraith. I like 'em but just curious as to how you guys chose those categories. In our league we went back and forth on our categories and tweaked them each of the first few years before settling on these. I guess we just felt our categories made the game realistic and some what weighted power and speed evenly and kept an importance on the bullpen which has obviously become really important in today's game.
