Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
5th year of our h2h keeper league, keep 5
and my team is stack so I have a good problem cant trade players unless I lock them in as keepers who do I keep?
for those of you that are saying to keep the 3 starters y would you do that? if anything I have thought to keep all hitters since there always seems to be pitchers that you can draft late that become allstars or have great seasons. you think one start a week is more important than everyday production?

Ya I'm not sure why people are recommending keeping 3 pitchers. It's much more important to have prime hitters. Votto is simply a top 10 pick every year. As well as Tulo who is by far the best SS. And Longo just look at what he did last year with missing an entire month. With those 3 you are pretty much locking up 100 hr, 300 rbi, 300 runs. It's a no brainer. And I'm not sure what the obsession with Strasburg is. He is going to have an inning cap. Which means he won't help you at all come playoff time.
was planning on keeping tulo longo votto n then lincecum n strasburg..... Im with ya on the of is deep this year and I am willing to drop a pitcher to keep a big bat really just thinking which arm....all are pretty even
keep the 3 starters + Longo & Tulo You have the 2 best players at 2 premium positions then you have all kinds of time in the draft to build an offense because you can just fill in league average pitchers with good win potential in the very late rounds
