Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
This is a 16 team Dynasty league where there is no draft, you keep entire team.
Team A gets: Justin Upton, Roy Halladay, Adrian Beltre
Team B gets: Joey Votto, Jose Bautista, Daniel Hudson
Its a good trade, for me i rather be team B. Elite 1st and 3b and a young pitcher with great experience. Halladay is one of the best pitchers, and Upton is a great 5 stat OF and Beltre is doing well in Texas. But Beltre has always worried me with his lack of consistency, Upton is an OF and you can replace an OF easily, and i have nothing negative to say about Halladay.
Bautista > Beltre (and far less injury-prone)
Votto > Upton (possibly for only the time being, although Votto has been great for years and no decline for a long time with him, therefore Votto is the better bet)
Hudson << Halladay (Halladay has about 5 more years of being a top 2-3 pitcher at least, mainly depending on any drop in velocity he has with age, but he's clearly far superior to Hudson)
So it depends on what you look for but I'd prefer hitting any day of the week since pitchers pop up every year or so and top 5 hitters at positions are very rare to suddenly aquire
