Jeff Weaver for Mariano Rivera
I'm looking to acquire a 3rd closer. I asked Rivera's owner what it would take to acquire him (he's way ahead in saves but trailing in other pitching stats). He asked for Weaver. I'm way behind in saves but ahead in other pitching stats. My other starters are Lester, Grienke, Sabathia, and Hamels. Would you make this deal?

    Change of topic, I know. But I just lost Weeks to the DL. I picked up Uggla off waivers for now. But would you move Weaver for Cano?

    That's what I'd rather do, but I know he won't go for it. But I'm way over my innings limit and we can only start 4 SP. So I wonder if it's worth converting the surplus SP (knock on wood) into Rivera. My two primary closers are Papelbon and Wilson. Sals is my third. I'd be looking to move Salas if I got Rivera.

    Yep, roto. 10 teams. He's also got Bourn and I could use SB help. What about Weaver for Bourn and Rivera?

  Oops. Brain cramp! I'd do JEFF Weaver Ret'd for Rivera any day of the week. It's Jered Weaver he's asked for of course. Sorry.
