Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Not gonna lie, my team is pretty awesome. 12 team Roto league, currently in 1st by a lot. My question is, will they keep it up, or should I make some moves now? Also, need to driop someone to reactivate Sizemore from DL, and will eventually have to reactivate Zimm, and possibly move or drop Gordon.. Any advice would help. Thanks!!

i wish my competition was as bad as yours
this is a better team and in 5th place
Thanks fellas. Wow, not a lot of love for my team. If anything though, my team is underacheiving. With the exception of a few players, everyone is currently ranked below there opening rank. I admit that at first glance, not alot of big names. But if you really look closer you will see I'm pretty well balanced, which is what has got me in 1st......
I agree that another solid SP is needed. My WHIP and ERA are my worst categories. I am thinking of moving an OF and another SP or RP for an SP upgrade. If anyone has any thoughts on who to target/move I'd appreciate it.
I agree with everyone else on here... If you are in first, its luck. You have some good players on your team of course, but I don't know that "pretty awesome" is accurate. "Pretty overachieving" is more like it... And pick up SP.
staying power in roto is based on two things, neither of which is the names on your roster.
1) cats leads. what cats are you safe in and which ones are close?
2) max. games projections (yours and the competition). easy to run up big leads in june if you're way over in games. and easy to catch up in sept. if you're not.
