Hang onto him - he will come around. If you trade him now you are selling low. The way I look at slow starts, is if the guy had a 6 week stretch of hitting .196 in the middle of an otherwise good season, you would not be as apt to drop or trade him because his cumulative stats for the season would still look decent.
