    Fielder for J.Johnson?

I say never trade an elite hitter for any pitching. Prince will be raking every day of the week, and lighting up categories like a pinball machine...meanwhile a pitcher goes once every 5 days.

    • Think I could make a deal for one of my outfielders not named Holliday for someone like Hanson or Shields?

I agree with you. I do need pitching help but not via a 1-for-1 deal with someone like Fielder, Votto etc..

      • I think you could trade one of your OF for a pitcher, but I still don't think it would be worth it for the same reason. I just find trading for a pitcher is tricky because the price is always too high. I have to give up a guy who produces every single day for a pitcher who's owner is going to be completely tight fisted about letting go? I always like to look to the pool, and in a 10 teamer the free agents available should be decent. Look for a good pitcher who's struggled and has been dropped by a frustrated manager.
