hart was just dropped today. i got to imagine i shouldn't hold onto my number 1 waiver here right?
C napoli, 1B moreland, 2b phillips 3b wright ss reyes, of cargo, c young, braun. ut bloomquist (need to drop today now that hes dl) francour.
gonna drop bloomquist and pick up a fa then drop them with my waiver pickup of hart...good idea right?
I could never understand why somebody keeps somebody on their DL and then right before the guy is about to come back he drops him.
Back in 2009 a guy in one of my leagues kept Mauer on his DL for most of April then when he was a few days away from being activated by the Twins the guy dropped him. I put in my mid-waiver priority and actually got him. Was able to have him in my lineup for his first game back and he hit a homer in his first at bat and went on to win the AL MVP.....LOL
I wouldn't do it. You just never know what a guy's going to look like coming off an injury, and it's not like Hart is an established elite OF. The #1 waiver's just too valuable to use in this situation IMHO.
