    • I'm slightly confused here. So apparently a guy who has shown NO power previously in the majors (.113 over a 65 game span in 2009), and slugged a nice round .405 in the minors with a .777 career minor league OPS can stand against even Swisher.

Swisher is a sure bet for 25+ HR, 85+ RBI and 85+ runs, and an ok AVG at .250. No speed here, but Fuld isn't know for his speed either. 106 career minor league SB's and caught 41 times in 610 games is pretty decent speed, but when that is your only asset really, I'd say Swisher + Lowe is a much better bet than Fuld. Of course, you probably COULD sucker someone into giving more for Fuld at this point, but I echo the senor above by saying Fuld is overperforming.

    • I'm curious if any of you Elmer fans ever looked at his prior stats. Fuld is 29 years old and has less than 500 major league at bats. His AAA career average is .273 and in 2281 minor league at bats he has hit exactly 24 home runs. Despite his early season running success he has never been a burner anywhere in the minors. I think everyone is overreacting to a few early successes.
