Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Granderson is the proven commodity in the most explosive lineup in baseball, Morrison is a nobody from the Marlins. Granderson is a 3rd-4th round pick in some leagues, don't pass that up. Everyone wants the shiny new waiver wire pick up but steady play wins the league

I'm in an 8 team league as well, but both of these guys are on rosters. My roster in fact (LOL). If I had to pick 1 (which is tough) I would take Morrison. I say this particularly after seeing that he had no problems hitting against Philadelphia (Oswalt, Hamels). I think most thought his run was going to slow down against Philly; it hasn't.
Im still debating. Im leaning more towards Granderson slightly. Since his name is bigger. Im sure he wont last on waivers, for long. And he gots plenty of protection. Who knows how long KC can keep up with their current hotness.
Morrison's hotter, and in an 8-team you should always be playing the hot hand because it's so hard to keep up... but keep an eye on Granderson who may actually end the year with better numbers.
Check out my post? Thanks!
Granderson. He looks to have adjusted to NY, has the speed to swipe some bags (although doesn't look like he's trying to, hopefully that will change). Has 4 HRs this year, 3 off of lefties, which was a problem for him last season. He's also been more patient at the plate, all in all it looks like he's gonna have a big year (let's not forget he was an all-star a couple seasons ago)
