Which shall I choose. Injury ridden but maybe back on track Chipper Jones (.321 2 12). Or, strikeout happy but potential HR busting Mark Reynolds (.239 1 10). He would be my backup to Jose Bautista. Short of it, who would be better over the long haul?
Reynolds is an awful player, but you can be sure of three things.
1. He will stay more healthy than Chipper.
2. He will hit 30 HRs
3. He will bat below .240.
If numbers 1 and 2 outweigh number three, than go for it. Hopefully you never have to rely on him though
