Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
My OF consists Guerrero and Braun for power, Pagan/Gardner for steals, and Alex Gordon (who I alternate between DH, OF and 3B, depending on the matchups).
Fairly balanced, I'd say. If they were all performing.
Pagan and Gardner have been god awful. I don't want to drop Gardner, and I'd rather hold on to Pagan as well, but this is getting frustrating (they went a combined 0-for-12 yesterday with no steals).
Would you go and check out the waiver wire anyway, and if so who would you replace with which player? Deep league, 12 team, very competitive.
Even with his 0 for 7 (double golden sombrero)...Pagan is still a top 160 player thus far (Pujols is 144). I am willing to ride him out...but I have my eye on Fuld and Herrera for UTIL replacements (Pagan is one of my 5 OF).
Hold on for a little while longer. Pagan will remain the CF for the Mets and gives you a mix of speed and OPS. Gardner is horrible right now but the Yankees don't have a true leadoff guy with Jeter aging and struggling. If you are forced to drop 1, I would dump Gardner.

Well I seriously lack speed for the rest of my team, and Pagan + Gardner = 80 steals last year, so that's why I went with the both of them. Plus, OBP is a stat in our league, and Gardner has a good history there.
I wouldn't mind having them both, if they were playing close to last year's level. But so far this year, it's been painful to watch..

True, and I want to be patient. It's just that I'm getting my butt kicked in this h2h, with a pretty all-round good team haha. Feel like I need to do something to break the trend. But thanks for the advice!
