Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
1b A Gonzalez
2b A Hill
3b A Rodriguez
B G. Sanchez (1b)
B Moustakas (last pick in draft--likely drop)
SP J.Santana (Disabled list and pickup) 20th round
I am hoping pitching and batting average will get me into the top 4. It is difficult drafting from the last spot, knowing everyone you will be wanting will be gone by next round. Any opinions? Thanks.
Lots of plusses here. If you are right and Hill and Bay return to 2009 form you may have something big here. SP are risky too - latos hurting and Volquez always an unknown. Replace Sale with a stud setup guy and I like the pen. Good luck.

From the 12th spot in a 12 team league, I did reach for Posey and I felt it was worth the gamble for position scarcity, and what was left. (I could have waited and gotten C.Santana later on) Also took McCutchen in the same end around. I dont regret the picks.

An outfielder always seems to come out of nowhere. If Abreau or Bay get back to form from 2 years ago, and Vlady had just that one bad year, I should be fine. FA is key for this team. I also drafted too many starting pitchers.

Adrian Gonzalez, and Alex Rodriguez were my 1st/2nd round picks. 13th pick was too ealry for Arod, but I wanted to at least cover 2nd, 3rd, or SS with one of my 1st 2 picks. The 11 guys I had rated ahead of them 2, were ALL taken. SHITHEADS anyway......
