Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I've been told my offense is lacking and my pitching is strong. Any other opinions? and who should I target? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks. 12 team head to head league

i really think you should consider trading papelbon and rivera which you were obviously not sold on earlier today. i think it solves your 1B and OF problems and then you could go drop manny and someone else and get 2 mid relievers who will put up similar numbers to your closers minus the saves.

well my problem is your basically telling me to "punt" saves and forget about the category completely and just use some stealthy middle relievers to bolster my era and whip and ks but why would I do that when I have two top 10 closers and I'm one wire pick up away from having a really strong closing unit?
offer tommy hunter or cole hammels to get a guy like justin morneau adam dunn or victor martinez u might have to throw in someone else but u need a stud 1b in fantasy cant win without one. i would go for morneu hed be the cheapest and has by far the most upside
Both your offense and pitching are slightly above average.
Two things to do IMMEDIATELY.
1) Dump Carlos Pena.
Gaby Sanchez should be your starting 1B. Package Pena and Bay to some loser to upgrade your OF. Your OF is weak.
2) Dump Jake Peavy and James Shields.
If this is a one year league you can't have DL fodder on your pitching staff. Hell...those two aren't even worth holding roster slots in a Dynasty League while they are hurt. Guys like Ian Kennedy, Travis Wood, Tim Stauffer, Anibal Sanchez, and Nelson Figueroa are going undrafted and would offer you better value than DL fodder since all are serviceable arms that are in the five man rotation of their respective teams.
