which SS after big 2 gone

    Alexei Ramirez.
I think Reyes and Rollins would be better if healthy, but that is a big if. Ramirez also costs less and still has time to breakout with a little more plate discipline. Rumor has it that he worked on it over the winter and bulked up a little. He hit 2 homers the other day in a Spring Training Game.
People were surprised the White Sox signed him to a pretty long term extension on what would have been his walk year. I think the White Sox feel they can count on him to work hard and feel a bigger breakout is coming. I dont see him stealing alot more bases but feel a push to a .290-.300 average and 25-30 homeruns are in the making. Take away April last year and he would have been on pace to hit that many homers and hit .290. Even if he does what he did last year, still great and has been consistent and never injured.
For the price, go with him and save some money for earlier or later.
Reyes and Rollins are tempting but to me, not worth the injury risk.

    • What I meant when I said the White Sox feel a breakout was coming....is that if they waited and then he broke out, it would have cost them more then to keep him and they probably think it is coming so they probably think they made a good investment locked him up now.
