Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I draft in a auction keepers league in a few weeks. Looking over the 3B availablility, there is DW and A-rod, then Young, Reynold and Sandoval for next tier.
Who of these three is the better get? I am leaning one way, but would like other thoughts.
You should first try for David Wright, because he is a stud, he is young, and he is proven. But since you are asking for the next three I'd say in order Panda, Reynolds, Young.
Panda is the youngest of the three and has the most upside. If last year is his floor. then he is a good 3B to have on your fantasy team. I do think his numbers will improve and be similar to what they were his rookie season.
Reynolds is next because of his raw power. HR are harder to get now so that value can't be overlooked. I think his avg will return to about .240-.260 like it was the previous 3 seasons. He also has the ability to get some SB.
Young is last because he is getting old, he will get AB, but who knows what will happen with that situation as the season goes on. He is a proven guy so if you want a sure thing for this year and probably next then get him, he will probably cost the most out of the three though. Hope this helps some.

Yep, but it's a auction keeper league with a $260 cap. I already have $102 wrapped up in Han Ram, Brauny, A.Gon, Nelly Cruz and Matt Cain. Zimmerman was kept. DW and A-rod are there but will be $30+.
I'm thinking cheaper, around the $12-15 range roughly.
