I can keep 2 of those 3 players, based on our keeper rules, for this season. Which 2?
I know pitchers are deep and SS is thin, but Rollins is sketchy and Haren is due to bounce back, I'd think.
So?-

Thanks for responding! I kind of like it b/c it means there is still a lot of good players left in the next year's draft and doesn't diminish the excitement.
It also encourages to pick up players that come out of nowhere midway through the season b/c they'll have a lower rank.
I'm going to add this option as a vote for our league... -

We're going into our third year, and I like it, yeah. I've never heard of any other league doing it this way though.
I like it because it creates parity - this definitely isn't good if you want to build a powerhouse and keep the whole team together... I'm forced to lose Holliday, Beltre, Oswalt, etc in the top 25
The nice thing is that if a good player gets hurt, you can probably keep them because they finish ranked lower. So if they hurt you this year, you can keep them easier. On the other hand, overperforming players probably need to be dropped, because there's no room to keep them. We end up dealing players we can't keep for picks, etc. I was in 1st place last year with enough of a lead that I felt safe dealing CarGo for a bunch of players and a lottery pick, since I couldn't keep him. -
Re: Which 2 of Haren, Liriano, Rollins?
Let Rollins go and draft someone like Stephen Drew ... Rollins is on steady decline.
