Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I honestly don't need that much hitting but I just lost Morales so I am feeling vulnerable.
C- Wieters/ Posey
SS- Hanley Ramirez
OF- Matt Holliday
Util- Austin Jackson/ Nyjer Morgan
DL- Kendry Morales
I want to trade Jimenez for Billy Butler and Morneau. The guy is very willing to trade, but I am losing my only ace. My other pitchers are (and all pitching pretty well) except Qualls who blows:
RP- Carlos Villanueva
SP- A.J. Burnett
SP- Dallas Braden
RP- Jonathan Broxton
RP- Jon Rauch
RP- Chad Qualls
SP- Jhoulys Chacin
SP- Carlos Silva
SP- John Danks
RP- Tyler Clippard
SP- Shaun Marcum
SP- Barry Zito
DL- RP Michael González
Should I make the trade?
It's a 12 person deep league, and because the benches are deep, I think 8, the FA market is scarce.
Some of the higher ranked bigger name guys available are:
- Rick Porcello
- Rowland Smith
- A. Sanchez (marlins)
- Brett Myers

I wouldn't either. And his pitching is pretty good too. Some people say to keep Ubaldo, but I think it depends on how you look at it. Yea, I lose a potential win a week solid Era and WHIP, and 5-7 K's, but i'm getting HR's, R's, RBI, Hit's, and Average x 2. And CONSISTENCY

Agree. Keep Jimenez. He has unlimited upside.

Yea, that's why I have Clippard and Vill. I mean this past week I posted 6 wins, 5 saves, 80 K's, 3.20 ERA and 1.20 WHIP. Not to bad, and I could pitch and ditch a guy or 2 every week to play matchups if I need to. It's 12 team H2H league and adding Morneau and Butler would really make my offense dominate. But losing Jimenez is huge so i am not sure what to do.
