Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I am in need of a SS and a closer but am not sure how to work out this trade to make it most fair.
Jeter and a closer must be included. If I trade Philips then Cano must be included. I also don't want to lose too much speed (my other fast guys are Furcal and Crawford).
Players I'm interested in:
Players I may trade away:
Morneau (would rather not but may have to)
Any advice on how to make this work is greatly appreciated!!!
Just looking for an objective opinion.
I am trading Kemp, Jonathan Sanchez and Ian Desmond
McCutchen and Phillips.
Here is my thinking. My SP is very strong (Verlander, Johan, Billingsley, Buchholz, Leake and Felix) so I can give up Sanchez.
I am replacing a relatively weak Desmond at 2B with Phillips a huge upgrade there.
And the diff between McCutchen's numbers and Kemp's aren't that much except for RBI which I don't need.
Plus I free up a roster spot which I can use.
What do you think?
1. Is Carlos Pena gonna start playing like a starting 1st baseman in fantasy leagues.
2. If not, is this a good trade?
giving: Chase Utley, Ichiro Suzuki
getting: Mare Teixiera, Casey McGahee (and might be able to get a good pitcher out of the deal)
I need HRs and RBIs bad
