Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Id rather take Arod/Grady.
Watching Grady's mechanics, its obvious that playing with his multitude of injuries last year really have his timing off. That is bound to change.
With Choo on fire, Grady is going to be in good shape when he comes around.
Arods pitch selection is hurting because Texiera doesn't have his stuff together yet. That will change shortly. Then Arod will have Texiera and Cano serving as "book ends".
Cabrera is a stud, no doubt. The question here is whether or Ordonez will be a factor, because Cabrera will suffer depending on that outcome.
Jones, while a great player, suffers from belonging to a tier 3 ball club. A lot of risk thinking this situation will get any better as the season goes on.
Ok so I would be receiving ARod and Sizemore in this example so the batters stack up like this
C- Joe Mauer
1B- Youk (moves from 3rd)
2B- Placido Polanco
3B- A Rod
SS- Alex Gonzalez
OF- Nelson Cruz
OF- Jayson Werth
OF- Ryan Ludwick
Util- Jason Kubel
BN- Scott Podsednik
DL- Aaron Hill
