    • I would drop Derosa or Berkman. Jones will probably put up better overall numbers than either of them this season.

    • Maybe Tejada but I would not drop anyone for Garret Jones. It's one game into the season and there is a reason why he played in the minor leagues for 11 years. A month from now every pitcher in the NL will have him figured out and he will be batting .240 with next to no HR. Expect Rick Ankiel production

      • Batting 240 is probably right but no homeruns is ludicrous. Nothing in his history says he can't or won't hit homeruns. he played 11 years in the minors yes but it was with the twins. They have been known to keep guys in minors for long period of time and baby guys along. Any other organization would have called him up in 2004. The guy has the power to hit 30 homeruns and with him playing for the Pirates he will get plenty of playing time with no fear of being benched. Only problem you will have to worry about is him getting traded away to another team.

    • I would probably drop Tejada, I can't see him having anywhere near the upside of Jones and you could probably pickup a SS from FA if the need ever arises (someone like Brendan Wood or JJ Hardy maybe)
