Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I have drafted many teams so far and on this one my strategy was to go pitching heavy with an even balance of speed and power on offense. Did I go to heavy?? 12 team H2H
I know that, I was just asking if I should improve my offense...I cant have Lincecum, Halladay, Sabathia, and Felix with any kind of offense. Wandy and Lester should be fine if not great for my SP 3 and SP 4
I love that roster.
I think people are failing to realize that you've got three guys who'll punch out 200 batters, and another who'll probably ring up 180-190. Good speed, good power. Good ERA. Not overly impressed with the closers, but you've at least covered your ass by getting three of them. Only thing that I don't like is what your batting average is probably gonna' look like, but you can't have everything.... and the batting average might not be that bad.
Very solid pitching staff for a 12 team league. Decent balance on offense. Consider Ian Desmond if he's still available for some 2B/SS depth. He's good for 15/15 with possible upside of 20/30.
