Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Thick head? As in dense? That would be you. For all of you fools...Johnny Damon has played 8 times as many games as Upton...his averages...match or exceed Upton's in EVERY AREA with the exception of HRs.
Sorry...Upton would be lucky to play another 7000 games and match the productivity of Damon. Again...Upton is good...but he is NOWHERE NEAR a top 40 player. Let the trades ride and if someone is stupid enough to be like the majority on this board they will blindly accept the ridiculous trade offer(s).
Again...go to The Baseball Cube and compare...Upton, Kubel, and Damon.

Yes. Cancel all of them.
Every year I do a 20 team league with managers that know their baseball. We have a few extra spots this year in a very fun and competitive league. It’s a 6x6 roto league (we added hits for batters and holds for pitchers). The information is below if you’re interested.

Wow...you don't have a very strong constitution. Perhaps you should research the player you are attempting to trade.
Justin Upton's Baseball Reference page: http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/u/uptonju01.shtml
He is NOT a five category stud. With luck he will be a productive fantasy baseball player in the mold of Johnny Damon...solid all-around numbers...NOT a top 40 fantasy performer.
i dont know about trading a 5 cat stud for a SP thats not halladay or lincecum. obv you need a top sp, but giving up upton could do damage to your offensive numbers. try to trade one of your other OF for a second tier pitcher. your getting raped otherwise

Since when is a career .272 hitter, that has never scored 100 runs, or had 100 RBI in a season, a 5 category stud? Those are good trades if he can find someone stupid enough to take them. Upton had a good season last year but I doubt he will have 20 SB and I doubt that he will hit .300. Further his 162 game averages have him at 84 runs and 78 RBIs. Good...but he is Jason Kubel with slightly more speed. Leave the trades out there and hope you get a bite (or a counter offer).
