Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
which SS would u rather have? standard cats. my other SS is reyes i just need to know which guy will be more likely to break out and/or be reliable for when reyes is out.
i have barmes (i dont need his 2B eligilibity)
other options are:
Don't listen to all these goobers haha. Go with Aybar hands down. The guy will lead off for ANA, and has the speed to steal 40-50 bases. He only stole 14 bases last year:
Scioscia will run him. The average will be a .300 AVG, and if leading off he will score 100+ runs. I also have an LA bias.
Theriot will score more runs and steal more bases than Aybar. Scutaro will bat 9th probably in Rsox some talk he will leadoff but I think Ellsbury will win that battle i think. O Cabrera will bt 2nd in front of Votto and Bruce should have another nice season

You can't be serious...have you seen Aybar's SB numbers in the minors? 32, 51, 49, and 32 in 4 consecutive years. He hasn't lead off so Scioscia doesn't run him. This year he is leading off. He'll easily steal more than Theriot, and Theriot doesn't lead off. Less runs.
Your best options from that list are Scutaro, Theriot, and O. Cabrera. Scutaro might score a lot of runs in the Boston lineup. His OBP was really good last year. Cabrera is now the every day SS in CinCy--I think.
wow what a nice problem to have If you would have known that the FA list would look like that why even draft a SS You could have got a less riskier player than reyes and just picked up 1 of the 1st 4 on your list or Orlando. I'd go with Theroit or O. Cabrera
