Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
What tradeable players from team A can be packaged together to get one of the SP from team B?
Team A: http://baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1/209731/6
Untradeable: Cabrera, Cano, Tulow, Sizemore, Figgins & perfer not to get rid of Capenter or Nolasco
Tulowitski. And I think Sizemore is a tad overrated at a deep position. I would have no problem if I were you trading either of them for a Halladay or a Santana (or a Lee or Sabathia, either).
Make an offer you're comfortable with, ask him to counter if he just flat out rejects it, and if it seems like you won't get anything done, shop around. There are other pitchers out there.
It just seems like this guy got most of them.
Thanks for all the advice. I don't know if i'm willing to part ways with any of my top 3 picks (tulow, cabrera, sizemore) but I guess I have to if I want any of his top 3 pitchers.
Do you think I should target pitching from another team, or do you think I should wait and see how my team turns out? Who do you think of my top players is the most expendable for pitching?
Well, I didn't put it as bluntly as the other two posters so far, but... they're right. You have to give something to get something. You want Halladay, or Santana, or Lee, or Sabathia? Start with Sizemore and Cano.
What is that, a ten team or less league? That's the only way Team A could have built such a sick pitching staff. Roto or h2h? How many categories? Because my instinct is this... be patient, wait until Team A realizes they drafted an awesome pitching staff but no offense, and they're floundering around in the middle of the pack come May and June, and then get one of those stud pitchers for much cheaper than you would pay now. Because if I'm managing Team A, and you're asking for Halladay, Lee, Sabathia, Santana, or Wainwright, and you've taken Cabrera, Cano, Tulow, Sizemore, Figgins, Carpenter, and Nolasco off the table... I'm finding a different trading partner. For the guys you've left on the table, you can get Lilly. Maybe Wainwright. But probably just Lilly. Either up your offer, or wait it out.
How on Earth did that guy get Lincecum, Halladay, Santana, Lee, and Sabathia on one roster? Bad job by the rest of the league.
What you meant to write was "without giving up any of my good players’ how can I get one of his good players"
The answer is you can't. You have been told multiple times now. You need to be more realistic

I've been asking multiple time now for suggestions.
I'm new to fantasy baseball and really don't have a firm grasp on what players go for...
Team B only has pitching and will have to get rid of some to stand a change in H2H imo. I'm sure 3 above average players in return for one stud SP when that team already has 5 studs could surely improve both teams, i think thats realistic.
