    Jayson Werth...

He was the MVP of my playoffs in 3 different leauges last year. After a .268/36/99/98/20 year at age 31 in May does he still have any upside? What round should he go in this year? Give me some comparable OFer's for 2010

    • I love Werth, it seemed until last year he never got his shot. Charlie Manuel made him split time with dbags like jeff genkins and pat the bat. He has been injury prone, but i could see him throwing another 30hr-20sb year. He hits in a great park in a great line-up.

then again he could be this year's version of the 2009 ryan ludwick.

    • I don't want anything to do with him..... Last year he was a late round steal. Now everyone knows about him so he will cost you an early pick....I gerenally don't waste early picks on OF, unless its a top 3 OF, because they are always there late. I targeted Choo, Span, Cruz, Jones, Werth, and Ibanez in the mid rounds last year. Look at all of the guys that turned up mid-season.

I think his numbers should be similar to last year, but keep in mind last year was the first time in his career he didn't go on the DL. He's still an injury risk in my opinion. Last year he was a no risk/high reward, this year he's a high risk/moderate reward for where he will be drafted.

    • he is in the bay, lind, BJ Upton area...pretty much like he was last year.. 5th or 6th round guy.. may fall into the 7th... he is a great 270 20/20 plus guy
