Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I have (Thank you Aramis Ramirez for getting hurt) Mark Reynolds on my team and I'm riding this amazing streak and season he is having... but I was just wondering.... do you think NOW is the time to try to get a hitter like Pujols or Hanley in a trade involving Reynolds?
I'm loving this now, but come playoffs and maybe he goes through a cold streak.
What you guys think... take my chance sticking with him or trading him for an elite proven hitter
I'm gunna shop around and see if anyone will bite at giving me a top hitter. My team looks like this
OF Juan Rivera
UTIL O Cabrera
SP Lincecum, Johan Santana, Lester, Oswalt, Sabathia, VOlstad, Millwood, Blanton, De La Rosa
RP Jim Johnson, Broxton, Bailey, Lindstrom, Soriano
I have been questioning Reynolds all season. He was involved in a trade I made prior to the start of the season where I basically swapped Chipper for him and Kershaw, and it has obviously paid off. The thing that worries me besides Upton going down and the hitters around him is his average in Sept. of last year where it was well below his weight, I think .215 (not sure). However, I've ridden him all season and I'm not going to stop now. One hot month may be a fluke, but he has had 4 hot months which is a trend. Live or die with Reynolds he may be coming into his own.
Albert went on a cold streak. Hanley got injured a little while back. Reynolds has kept this up all season bro. Mark is a great add to your team. Unless your getting a great ace, or a top player. Don't trade him, don't even look to trade him. 3/5 tonight with his 33rd homerun. Yeah, keep him.
