    You are going to trade a proven ML 20+ HR performer for an unproven rookie?

    Um...no. Beckham was good in college and he has finally started hitting in the majors but he is not a Kubel quality hitter (yet). In fact, Kubel has gone from being a .270 hitter with 20 HR to a .300+ with 20. Beckham is not there yet. Do not do it unless you REALLY need a SS/3B.

    Garrett Jones for Gordon Beckham is a better trade.
