Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Another owner in my league wants Billingsly badly. She offered Nick Markakis and Orlando Hudson for Billingsly and Braun. Before I could respond, she pulled it back and offered me O. Hudson and A.J. Burnett for Billingsly and Huston Street. I countered with...
Team A gets:
Team B gets:
I don't expect her to take it, but as she's sent me the above offers plus about three more for Bills, I figured, what the hell?
How even/uneven is that counter offer? Thanks!
Well the trade is even here ya Wright is better then Werth
but when you add Billingsly to it you even up the trade and the other ting that would be nice to know is this a keepers league if so that changes this deal for me. And who is her other 3 baseman that she has on her team if none I dont do the trade even if I get the better deal unless I see their is a good 3 baseman in the FA list.

Her other 3B are Teahan, Scutaro and Inge. We're in a 12 team-roto; she's in 3rd, I'm in 5th, and we're separated by about 6 points. She needs pitching and owns most of the offensive categories; I have starting pitching depth and need to pick up my .AVG, .SLG and drop my offensive K's.
It really depends on if you think Jayson Werth is as good as he's been playing lately. I personally don't think he's that great so I'd probably want a slightly bigger name to pair with Billingsley to get Wright. Obviously Braun is too much to give up, who else is on your team? Who is at 3B for you currently?

I just traded Chris Davis away for Bobby Abreu. I play in a league that counts offensive K's, and he was killlling me (the .AVG was horrendous, too). I'm going to slot Sandoval in at 3B and I have Jesus Flores about three days away from coming of the DL for C.
My next offer would probably be Sandoval and Bills for Wright, but she has about three other 3B to take over for Wright, including Inge. Truth told, I'd include about any other OF plus Bills for Wright, but not Braun.
(I just traded Soriano last week for A-Gone.)
