    Answering Dynasty/Kepper Questions

I'm looking to trade A. Gonzalez and Kevin Youkilis for David Wright and Soriano. Do you think I am giving up too much? I have a few first baseman and need some help in OF with Hamilton doing down.

    THANKS!

    • I don't like that trade for you. Although I do feel that Wright is one of the premire keeper/dynasty players that you can build a team around you lose that trade (and A-Gon is becoming one of those players).

What you need to do is trade Hamilton before people get to down on him. Yes when he is playing he will be a good source of run production, however I see him as the type of player that will average 120 or so games a season. His drug abuse destroyed his body and will hamper him his entire career (the possible injuries and health concerns from his Heroin addiction is the #1 reason the Reds cite for trading him 2 years ago).

Back to the trade, I understand that you may have to many corner infielders but I think you are selling very low on a combo of A-Gon and Youk. Soriano turned 33 before this season (the typical age of a large statistical decline and increased injuries). Don't discount this point, we have gotten used to players playing until 38-40 years old because of steroids but soon things will be back to normal. Just look at his numbers and you will seen the decline, I don't ever see him returning to his high productive years
