Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I missed the draft and here is what I wound up with.
I had lots of pitching but needed an upgrade in position players here is my first team:
C = Ryan Doumit, Matt Wieters
1B= Carlos Pena/Connor Jackson
2B= Mike Aviles, Rickie Weeks
3B= Adrian Beltra
SS= Stephen Drew
OF= Torri Hunter, Adam Jones, Justin Upton, Cameron Maybin
SP/RP - Tim Lincecum, Jake Peavy, Brandon Webb, Jon Lester, Josh Beckett, Ian Snell, Gio Gonzalez, Joe Nathan, Joakim Soria
I then droped Weeks/Snell/Gonzalez and picked up Matt Lindstrom/Daniel Murphy/Travis Snider
My new line up looks like this
C = Ryan Doumit/Matt Wieters
1B= Lance Berkman
2B= Aaron Hill(picked up for Webb on DL), Mike Aviles
3B = Adrian Beltre
SS = Stephen Drew
OF= Torri Hunter, Carlos Lee, Daniel Murphy, Travis Snider, Adam Jones
UTL= David Ortiz
SP/RP = Tim Lincecum, Brandon Webb(DL), Adam Wainwright, Yovani Gallardo, Javier Vazquez, Joe Nathan, Joakim Soria, Matt Lindstrom
What do you think? I am willing to trade Lincecum and Webb when he is healthy. Where should I look to upgrade now?

I hated to see Floyd walk 7 batters last start, but somehow he got the win. Thats how bad the tigers are. He's a really good pitcher and he proved it last year. A former #1 pick for the Phillies. Volstad is good but young, he's playing for a great team with the Marlins but in this situation you gotta go with experience, and thats Floyd.
Baker is coming off DL, who should I drop. Offense or pitching.
Also, I have a trade coming with Kinsler, Morneau, Kazmir, and Cain for Pedroia, Cruz, Cantu, and Kershaw.
C Ryan Doumit (Pit - C)
1B Joey Votto (Cin - 1B)
2B Dustin Pedroia (Bos - 2B)
3B Miguel Cabrera (Det - 1B,3B)
SS Rafael Furcal (LAD - SS)
OF Jason Bay (Bos - OF)
OF Grady Sizemore (Cle - OF)
OF Bobby Abreu (LAA - OF)
Util Nelson Cruz (Tex - OF)
SP Kevin Slowey (Min - SP)
SP Clayton Kershaw (LAD - SP)
RP Mariano Rivera (NYY - RP)
RP Joakim Soria (KC - RP)
P José Valverde (Hou - RP)
P Chad Qualls (Ari - RP)
P Paul Maholm (Pit - SP)
BN Marco Scutaro (Tor - 2B,3B,SS)

Jurrjens is the one to drop, 10 baserunners in 4 innings last start doesn't look good. Also that trade looks pretty fair, you know what your going to get with Kinsler and Morneau, let someone else reach for what Cruz is going to do this year.
my speed guys are weak....Damon, Maybin, Crisp. Should I drop any of these guys?
I could flip in any batter bc Winn is my utility guy and I could move him to OF....
any suggestions?? dukes, buck, etc?
