Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Hey got a big trade that was offered to me and was wondering what u think and wat u would do
12 team h2h non keeper
i get Rios Cantu and Haren
i give Longoria Holiday and Cain
I have huge depth at LF
Soriano, Bay, Crawford, and Murphy
my 3b are Figgins, Gordon and Longoria
i could use haren in my rotation as its not that strong
please let me know
Don't do it. Cain is highly underrated. He is a great pitcher and could have an awesome year this year.
Just because Holliday went to the AL doesn't mean he will play badly. It's Holliday. A good hitter is a good hitter. Plus, Rios doesn't match Holliday.
I'm not sure about Longoria this year, but I think Cantu will do well.
My question to you is then: Is the need for SP worth giving up Holliday???
(I say DO NOT accept)
dont do it. Rios will be a little above average among the power hitters with a decent average. Cantu is just having a fast start and will definitely cool off. Haren is a good pitcher but Cain could be even better this year. Plus the two power hitters that youre giving up are way too much for what youre getting. Longoria and Holliday are prime hitters after last season
I would go for it as well ... just offered Roy Oswalt & Jay Bruce for Alex Rios (the trade partner had no one else worth including in trade to make it 2 for 2) in a 12 team Roto league ... I think Rios is all around talent and you get Haren to give much needed help in pitching staff ... Cain could be a breakout player, that's the risk you have to take -- risk/reward is what these deals are about all the time
