      Did i take a big risk taking guys with terrible 08 numbers as bedard, verlander,carmona,harang but that had great 07 numbers?? Who is a sleeper SP? Escobar?

        Well Gregg it was announced is the closer for the Cubs so good for you! Well I have mentioned to couple managers who were hurting and here is MY sleeper. Kawkami for Atlanta. He has better stuff and control than DiceK and is sporting a 1.86 ERA in 3 starts. I needed a 5th starter in one league so gonna give him a shot. Next choice I was leaning toward John Lannan the opening day starter for Nationals with their improved offense with addition of Dunn. If Cris Carpenter is available from St Louis he has 13 Ks and 1 walk and appears back and ready but may very well be taken..........good luck

        Man you love those relievers! I really like your first 4 picks. Your hitting should be solid this year. If I were you I would keep an eye on some starters (tommy hanson) players like that because I think your pitching will really struggle early in the year with price in the minors for a while. But if you can find a few more pitchers to go along with Shields and Slowey (I like both) you could finish the year near the top.

        Well we know who has locked up the era/whip titles in your league!! However,,,,,,,,,check your commissioner's league setting with that size of a roster make sure there is no minimum requirements for IP. Price is gone to AAA for now so will be dead spot til he return in May or whenever. Watch for another starter and could use a bench man or two incase of nagging injuries or slumps which will hurt your stats with no backup. Good luck........little overkill on RPs which you can use for trading power with depleted teams in your league to fit your needs.......good luck

        Keep an eye on Mauer as his back is acting up,,,,,,,,,not good but he could DH later if hurting.....dont expect Sherill to keep job as Chris Ray is knocking hard now that he is healed up and got his stuff back from two years ago. Otherwise pretty competitive and and as always I tell everybody to look for another SP if you spot one who is putting up good numbers after 5-6 starts later this spring or early, may,,,,,,,good luck,,,,,,,,gary (keep Ziegler)

        Gosh I like David Wright in your lineup but good pitchers despite his drop in wins he still has good era/whip/K-9 to his credit but should get back up to 15 wins I would think. SO its mainly Peavy for Wright. I guess if you want a distince answer I am thinking Peavy is more valuable to your pitching staff than Wright is to you offense cuz you can get more power and sbs but cant find another Peavy if he has a Peavy year. Maine is struggling so a FA in many leagues believe it or not. (He will probably drop him if he cant ship him) Keep your closers active to help solidify you era/whip/K-9 for staff. good luck
