Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
This is a public 12 team league w/ live draft that just finished. I have my ideas but want yours to get second opinion. I think Furcal is going to be huge this year. I'm thinking of offering Hanley Ramirez for a power corner and a strong closer. Do you think I could get MCabrera & BLidge for him? This is how I ended up. Tell me what you think i should do.

I would not trade Hanley, and instead wait a few weeks. If Furcal starts showing those big-time numbers, trade Furcal. Hanley is amazing, and it is likely that his first week or two will see him with abysmal numbers as he gets over the new grooming policies put forward by Marlins management. You will get nothing but low-ball offers for him right now, but if Furcal puts up a killer line in the first three or four weeks you have a legitimate centerpiece for a real steal of a deal.
I would attempt to work your feelings on Furcal's potential into a one-for-one for A-Rod. When A-Rod comes back he will, even if underperforming, put up absolutely stellar numbers. Your lineup will be amazing and you'd only need to putter your way through April.
