Do i need to trade to get better pitching?

    i currently have as pitchers

    SP Dan Haren, Roy Oswalt
    RP Joel Hanrahan, Trevor Hoffman
P Derek Lowe, Hiroki Kuroda, Ubaldo Jimenez
    BN David Price

im happy with haren and oswalt but feel i need a 3 starter such as a gallardo or greinke. plus i want a better closer maybe trade for someone but dont know who. i hate paying for saves but i feel i may have to.

any thoughts on the pitching staff and what is needed to improve it will be greatley appreciated thanks

    • Yes you need to get better! I would store Price and hope the Rays bring him up soon. I'm assuming you're using standard roto scoring because you make no mention of anything else. Check out some of these waiver wire Gems who are having great springs and could give you the 3rd 4th and 5th starters you need.

Clay Buchholz 0.46 era through 19.2 innings 15 Ks 3 walks plays for Boston last year they were calling him the next Clemens last year might have been too soon but this year he could really be a fantasy asset.

Jordan Zimmerman 20 ks 2 walks in just 14.1 innings He's the best arm in the Nationals farm system and it looks like he won't have to wait till the middle of the year to get his shot in the bigs.

John Lannan 1.50 ERA through 18 innings He won't get you big Ks but he's expected to be even better than last year. The Nat's are improved so that should be good enough for 10 to 14 wins with an ERA under 4.00 and a solid WHIP

    • Hoffman will likely start the year on the DL with McClung taking his jon until he gets back. I'm high on Jimenez as a possible sleeper this year and won't be suprised if he's as good as Greinke or Gallardo.
