Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I've been offered:
MY: Alexei Ramirez
HIS: Nick Markakis
Should I do it? I'd be forced to go from Ramirez to Kendrick at 2B for now, and any 2B pick ups off the FA/WW.
OR I could trade Beltran for a 2B/P combo package?
My team (10 Team H2H Keeper League 6x6, 5x5 with HLD and OBP)
2B Al. Ramirez
3B Ar. Ramirez
OF Beltran, Dunn, Dye
Util Ortiz, Ethier
Bench Kendrick, Jones, Gomez
SP Halladay, Billingsley, J. Johnson, Greinke, Myers, Jurrjens
RP Hoffman, Francisco, Sherrill, Percival, Wheeler, Balfour
I also have the option to get Cano in the deal if I add one of my players. Cano might not be a big improvement over Kendrick, but it's about the best I can do in that trade alone.
Is it worth it to add one of my power hitters for Cano? He's asked for either Ortiz or an OF....

Markakis will produce a 100-30-20-100 .300 line this season with ease. he walked 99x last year and hit over 40 doubles. he's working on his game right now. he's a competitor. you want him on your team. oh yeah, he's improved accross the board 3 straight years......
I'd be hesitant to do this trade. Your OF is already OK and you have a few options that could really produce this year on your bench. I know that Markakis is the better value, but in a H2H I don't want to rely on Kendrick until he proves he can stay healthy.
