It's a bullshit trade. Miggy is a top 10 player. Ichiro and Markakis are both in that 15-25 range, but Davis and Danks are not even close. Davis is about 70, but Danks isn't even top 150. Joke trade. Anyone who thinks this is a fair trade doesn't know what they're talking about.
umm, yes its a bad trade but the season hasn't started yet. unless you have a crystal ball or are from the future why would you veto??? you don't know what will happen so why should your "expert opinion" stop 2 willing managers from a trade?
You do not know what you are talking about. John Danks not in the top 150? You seem to be one of those people that just gos by yahoo's retarted ranking system. Never use their O-ranks, they are worthless.
Danks is a former 9th overall pick that has improved his numbers every year he has been in the majors. He put up 12 W 159Ks 3.32ERA and a 1.23WHIP last year and he was only 22 years old at the start of the season. Before you go slamming someone for a trade why don't you make sure you know what you are talking about.
Yes Miggy is a great player but Ichiro is past his prime. The guy other side is getting Markakis who is a rising star, and I do not care what anyone says he is more valuable than Ichiro, Chris Davis who will easily put up power numbers this year. He showed he could hit for power last year, he still hits in the middle of one of the best lineups in the game and gets to play 81 games a year in Texas, the best hitters park in the game. And they also get Danks, a rising star pitcher, just because you know nothing about him do not knock him.

LOL. Danks is not a top 150 player. He's actually right around that 150 mark. If you want to take him 140th, go for it. My point is, he's not in the discussion of the rest of this trade. He's comparable to Price or Kershaw. He's not even the same level of Gil Meche. He pitches for the Sox, he's gonna win 12-14 games, with very little offensive support. I'm not saying he doesn't have good stuff. That's not what fantasy is about. He's a decent strikeout pitcher with minimal offensive support.
Don't get me wrong, I love Markakis. I have him as the #5 OF. I love the guy. He's a stud who is only going to get better. I actually would actually compare Chris Davis to Ichiro, with Ichiro favored, mainly because Davis is unproven for a full season. So even if you compare Davis with Ichiro, evened up by the addition of Danks, you're still comparing Markakis to Miggy.
I've been playing fantasy for quite a while. If you want to take a look, feel free to come join a league with me.
