I realize I'm pretty weak at SS, but I'm probably gonna ride it out. I like Cabrera as a breakout sleeper this season.
Thoughts? Good enough to compete?

SS is a question mark, yes... OF isn't exactly my strongest suit, but I doubt it will hurt me either.
With Lincecum, Halladay and Nolasco starting once per week and Wandy starting at least every home game, I think my rotation will be just fine. Plus, I think Gallagher will surprise a lot of folks this year. He's got the skills to be successful.
Thanks for your input.
Great job for a 14 team league. Also, I agree with you about Cabrera, the kid has a ton of talent.
I would trade Hunter Pence. IMO he is overrated and you have plenty of good young OF so you have no real need for him. See if you can get Elvis Andrus or Tim Beckham in return. Therefore, in case Cabrera does not work out you have a young backup option at SS.
Again, real good job, that is a fantastic draft for a 14 team dynasty league

I couldn't agree more about Cabrera. He hit 320 with an OBP of 398 after the all-star break. The better players always improve throughout a season. The thing is Cabrera is stuck behind Peralta and DeRosa this season so I can't see him doing too well. But thee Indians could always push DeRosa to another position because he is so versatile.
Flat out, if Cabrera gets a hold of the starting job this year, watch out.
I actually just traded FOR Pence (and Hanrahan for Danks and Cueto), as I feel that Pence will bounce back to show that his rookie campaign was no fluke. He suffered from a bit of a sophomore slump, but he's got the skills to be a legit 5-tooler, in my opinion. We'll see... I may deal him if I can get good return value, though.
Alcides Escobar is available, and I've been considering snatching him up for the past few days. I just may.
