generally speaking, between this and a different message board, Team B seems to get the edge.
I'm team B. The guy I was trading with really wanted Kershaw, he's a big Dodgers fan. We've been negotiating back and forth for 3 days. I was reluctant to trade Broxton because I don't know how long Francisco is going to be the closer down in Texas, but if he stays in that role, his stats were similar to Broxton. I tried offering Francisco instead, but he wouldn't bite. Originally he wanted to give me Delgado, I held out for Fielder, and wanted to avoid the danger of getting stuck with only one closer by adding Street to the deal and giving him Martinez to allow him to shift Delgado to 1st and use Martinez as utility. In the interest of being fair, I thought it was pretty much fair for both sides though I do share the concerns about Burnett and Street's health plus Street pitching in Colorado. Had I not had Halladay and Harden already, and I'm counting on both for 35 wins this season, I probably wouldn't have done this.
