Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I am in a 8 man keeper league I get to keep 5 players. I am the defending champ and have last pick in the draft (back to back picks). My possible keepers are:
Tim Lincecum-(SF - SP) Lock
Ryan Braun-(Mil - 3B,OF) Lock
Carlos Lee-(Hou - OF) DL Lock
Brian Roberts-(Bal - 2B)
Jimmy Rollins-(Phi - SS)
David Price-(TB - RP)
I asked for help before about who to keep and the thinking was to keep Price. I really hate dropping Robert or Rollins. Do you think I should take a chance of waiting for my turn to get Price back?
I'd let go of Price. He should be available to you when you pick. I'm betting you could even wait until your 3rd round pick to get him unless someone is overly anxious to get him. With only 5 keepers there are plenty of players available.

Here's an example of a recent keeper-league trade involving Jose Reyes/Justin Morneau and Evan Longoria/Matt Kemp/Stephen Drew:
And here's an example of a Rate My Team question that's up for discussion right now:
Hope you like what you see. And best of luck to you this baseball season!
dont take the chance of dropping price. If this is a serious keeper league that you expect to be still playing in 2 years from now you will be kicking yourself in the ass over the day you decided to drop price.
