    10 team H2H league

    Got two pending trades, and I'm a little nervous giving up two studs going into the playoffs. What do you think?

    Trade 1 (to a team not in the playoffs):

    I give:

    Hamilton
    Giambi
    Campillo
    Shoppach

    I get:

    Soto
    Abreu
    Gregg


    Trade 2 (to a team in the playoffs):

    I give:

    Holliday
    slowey

    I get:

    Soriano
    Mo


    I'm very nervous about losing Hamilton AND Holliday, but I really needed closers. I think the second one is fine, but I think I overpaid a bit on the first one. I'm kinda banking on Soto outproducing Shoppach...not sure if that's a safe bet or not...

    [[Note: I consider Giambi & Slowey relatively worthless, and probably Campillo too at this point]]

      do the second one, its pretty fair, while the first one is pretty much in the other guy...

        Hanrahan and Lewis are both on teams...Ayala is available, but I'm not sure I want him, and he'll lose the closing role when wagner comes back anyway.

        The first trade, I figured Hamilton to Abreu wasn't too bad a downgrade, and Soto should be an upgrade from shoppach (though looking at the stats it doesn't seem like one, by much). Giambi is worthless to me (have Pujols at 1st and there are others out there good enough to be backups, and I have no pitching staff at all...I just piece it together week to week, which has been my strategy all year in H2H's, so i don't mind losing Campillo.
