You could really help me out here.I'm in a 10 team rotisserie league and i have a comfortable lead.I'm always looking to improve my team so i have 2 questions for you:
My first question is:I'm trying to sell high on Volquez and I've been offered Verlander.Verlander has been underperforming this year but he seems to be pitching better this year.Should I make the deal? The rest of my pitching staff is Peavy,Shields,Maine,Jurrjens and Marcum.
My second question is:do you think John Danks is for real? He's available on waivers and i was thinking of picking him up.
thats a pretty iffy trade in my oppinion. Chipper always tends to fade away or get injured the deeper the season goes. Ervin's pretty damn good for Ws & Ks. However ARod is ARod. If u can afford to lose a great statistical SP like Ervin, U should definetly accept that deal.

16 teams? That should be a very deep league. Some players that should be open for awhile on the draft boards that i think could go off include:
Plax Burress (not really a "sleeper", but i'm very excited to see how performs after winning the championship)
L Coles (if he stay healthy, he is a Very good weapon to have. IF)
D Bowe (got his rookie year outta the way, now lets see he well he does now that hes got a taste of nfl action)
A Rodgers (might be a surprise. Good recievers. Seems pretty confident in his own game. Can't go wrong with that.)
And watch out for Rookie RB Matt Forte (he should be carrying the load for Chi this season. He looks very impressive)
Hope i helped.
Also, are u interested in joining an ESPN FFL league???? I'm the commish.
This is my team:
C Russel Martin
1B Mike Jacobs, Justin Morneau
2B Placido Palanco
SS JJ Hardy
3B Adrian Beltre
OF Dye, Holliday, McClouth, Hunter, Votto
SP Lincecum, Duchscherer, Peavy, Haren, Nolasco, Wandy Rodriguez,Aaron Cook
RP Torres, CJ Wilson, BJ Ryan
This was just offered to me today:
I give Justin Morneau and Tim Lincecum.
I get A-Rod, Casey Kotchman, John Maine.
Is it fair and should I do it?

Defintely i'd accept.
ARod is a HUGE upgrade over Beltre. (Duh)
U don't absolutely NEED Morneau, u have Jacobs to cover 1B.
U hate to lose Lincecum, but for ARod, he's spendable.
ARod's a phenom.
Kotchman's a good value. Good Avr. Could trade him for another good SP.
Maine gets Ws and gets a good amount of Ks as well.
Go for it.
I'm thinking of declining this got offered braun and joba for lincecum and longoria.need help at ss have carlos guillen at the moment.here is my staff hamels, peavy, lincecum, harang, harden, felix, and wainwright any thoughts?

Decline it. Braun's great, but i dont think Joba is ready to be an ace starter yet. Lincecum, however, is very ready. & Longoria is heating up very fast here as of lately.
Keep what u have unless he offers something better than joba.
If u need a great SS, offer peavy or lincecum & try to aim high-ish. Maybe Hanley, Reyes, or Tejada (may be slumping now, but u can't keep a great hitter down for too long).
