    The Prospect Expert is back

is max ramirez going to have any fantasy value

    • one note on Ramirez is that by him getting the callup over Teagarden they may be trying to showcase him for a trade. He would lose some value moving out of that hitter friendly park and out of a lineup that would presumably have Hamilton, Davis and Smoak in it for a long time. If he stays in Texas he could be a perrenial .300, 30 HR and 100 RBI guy.

    • the question I hoped no one would ask.... With Blalock missing more time he gets a longer audition. They wouldn't bring his kind of talent up and less it would play everyday. Until he gets catcher eligibility he doesn't have that much value. Grab in all long term leagues though, he was hitting .363 with 17 HR and 50 RBI before being called up. He's also the favorite mancrush of baseball america's lead writer (who has a lot more credibility than Funston, Evans and the retards on this site).

    • The man is insanly good, he has 15 HR in 214 AB's, as for this year probably not but in a dyanasty or keeper he is a must have, with the way he hits he will find playing time and a good chunk of it too. HHe projects as a star.
