I'd make the first trade. A bit iffy about the second one though. You do have some good FA pitchers though. Litsch, Banks, Galarraga, Kuroda... The second choice is hard to make... but Sizemore is definitely turning it on.
Who do you see having a better rest of the year? I am contemplating a trade in a keeper auction league that allows you to keep up to 8 players. You have a 260.00 draft value. The trade is Volquez and Dye for Joba and Soto. I have Volquez sitting at 10.00 and Dye at 11.00 but I am afraid he is going to hit a wall as he hasn't ever thrown this many innings and Dusty Baker keeps running his pitch counts into the 105-115 range. We've all seen whats happened to Prior, Wood, and Jason Schmidt after Baker has been their manager. Joba has thrown less innings this season and last year between minors and majors threw 140 innings so I would be a little less concerned with him hitting the wall. Plus I think Joba has a better everyday lineup behind him but he does pitch in a tougher league and division. Joba was bought this season for 7.00 and Soto is at 6.00 so the value in money is relatively close but would favor Joba and Soto.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
